About This Partner
Easilink Community Transport is an independent charity governed by a voluntary board. It provides accessible transport for people across the Omagh, Strabane and Foyle areas who cannot easily use public or private transport. Easilink promotes independence, social inclusion, and physical and mental wellbeing by helping people access healthcare, education, training, employment, and other essential services. Its beneficiaries include older people, people with disabilities, those experiencing financial hardship, rurally isolated individuals, and community groups. Committed to community development, Easilink works closely with local organisations and charities to support volunteering, accredited training, and community activities through shared use of its transport services. Recent independent research has demonstrated the significant social value generated by its work. Through the STRIDE Programme, Easilink explored how digital innovation could address a significant evidence gap in understanding rural transport needs, evolving into a Geographic Information System (GIS) accessibility mapping and data analysis solution.
