Empowering Border Communities Through Technology
The Smart Rural Innovation Driven Empowerment (STRIDE) initiative is a €3.5 Million project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). We support communities in Tyrone, Fermanagh, Leitrim and Sligo to create digital solutions for local challenges and foster cross-border collaboration.
People-Centred Digital Innovation
We don't just build solutions, we co-create them with the people who need them most.
Community-Led
Our Design Thinking cohorts bring together citizens, groups, and organisations to identify real challenges facing rural communities.
Digital Solutions
From improving communication to transformational change, we work with communities to develop the practical and sustainable digital tools they need.
Cross-Border Impact
Supported by PEACEPLUS to promote collaboration, reconciliation, and prosperity across Fermanagh, Tyrone, Leitrim, and Sligo.
Captured and Illustrated
At our launch, illustrator Ruth Graham captured the conversations, themes and ambitions of STRIDE as they unfolded; from community empowerment to the rural voices at the heart of everything we do.
