About This Partner
NW Cornerstone Meals on Wheels is a community-based organisation providing meal preparation and delivery services to older people, people living alone, people with health or mobility needs, and other service users across the North-West region. The organisation plays an important role in supporting independent living, community wellbeing, and social inclusion by ensuring service users have access to regular prepared meals delivered directly to their homes. Partnering with the STRIDE Programme, the organisation addressed complex administrative challenges by developing a bespoke web application. This platform streamlines workflows, replacing disconnected manual information flows with a centralized system for managing service users, simplifying kitchen operations, automating delivery route assignments, and managing invoicing and HSE subsidies.
