About This Partner

The Enniskillen Railway Heritage Group manages the Headhunters Barber Shop & Railway Museum, a truly unique community attraction formed in 1997 by former railway employees and local enthusiasts. Led by the Johnston family, the charity boasts one of the largest collections of Irish railway memorabilia on public display, celebrating the history of the Great Northern Railway (Ireland), the Sligo Leitrim & Northern Counties Railway, and the Clogher Valley Railway until their closure in 1957. The museum seamlessly combines traditional barbering with immersive heritage displays, featuring a reconstructed booking office, Station Master’s office, and thousands of historical artifacts. The group actively engages in educational outreach, guided tours, and collaborative exhibitions to keep the rich transport history of Fermanagh and the border counties alive for future generations.
