About This Partner
Founded in 2014, Row the Erne is a dynamic community organisation and registered charity dedicated to making Lough Erne accessible to everyone while promoting heritage, health, and environmental connection. At the heart of the charity is ‘The Menapian’, a hand-crafted 33-foot traditional wooden currach built by over 70 local volunteers. Manned by crews of 10 rowers and a skipper, the club offers residents and tourists the opportunity to experience the physical and mental health benefits of open-water rowing, regardless of prior experience. To manage their rapidly growing membership, complex excursion schedules, and frequent group bookings, Row the Erne partnered with STRIDE to co-create an Online Booking & Event Management System. This digital solution radically streamlines operations for the volunteer committee, ensuring safe, organised, and accessible maritime heritage experiences for thousands of participants.
