19th Infantry Battalion FCA Association

The 19th Infantry Battalion FCA Association preserves the Battalion’s history, traditions, and memories while maintaining connections among former members, families, and the wider community. Inaugurated in 2008 and officially launched in 2009, the association utilises the Boyle Military Post as a base for its commemorative activities and visitor centre. Through the STRIDE Programme, the Association identified a need to better preserve historical photographs, documents, records, and stories while improving membership administration and public access to its heritage. Following a Design Thinking process, they developed a practical Digital Heritage and Membership Platform managed by volunteers.
