About This Partner

Boho Community Association (Boho CA) is a registered charity established in 1992 to support the rural community of townlands centred around the Boho area on a cross-community basis. Operating from the Boho Community Centre (formerly the Tullyholvin National School), the association facilitates vital educational, social, and recreational activities to alleviate rural isolation and improve the quality of life for locals. The area faces significant challenges due to severe and persistent road flooding, which frequently isolates houses, blocks emergency services and care workers, and cuts off Killyhommon Primary School. In partnership with the STRIDE programme, Boho CA has co-created a digital Flood Level Alert System to provide a real-time, visual status of local approach roads, increasing community resilience and enabling safe route planning.
